The Golden Key

Our PIMP YOUR POTTY incentive is well underway with some teams making good progress to be the first team to reach the $7,500.00 goal.

With that said – let’s clarify some points so there are no misunderstandings. The winning team will be awarded their golden key the night of Relay. To win, a team be the first to reach the $7,500.00 goal and be the first team registered and ready to go the night of Relay. What that means is – even if a team gets all their donations online before the big event – it doesn’t mean they are the winner. They must show up to register for the event – bringing their team kit, signed envelopes, cash donations etc. for ALL team members.  When everyone on your team has been accounted for and the money has been confirmed, then you are that much closer to being the winner. The people with the power to award the winner are the lovely people counting your cash, making sure your information is complete and accurate.  (So it won’t hurt to be extra special nice to those people on the other side of the table at Bank Night (June 11th) and/or the night of Relay when you come to register.)

Imagine, June 14th you are the only team to have a PIMPED OUT POTTY!  A potty with the comforts of home.  Hand towels, plush, comfy toilet paper, magazines for those ‘moments alone’ and scented hand sanitizer.  Can you see it?  Can you imagine the comfort and privacy of having a potty that your team will be the only one to use?  No waiting to find an empty port-a-potty.  No wondering about who used it last and what the heck did they eat?

Do you want this?  Does YOUR TEAM want to enjoy a private, pimped out potty that will be decorated, lit, supplied with some of the comforts from home and available only to you?

In honour of the Canadian Cancer Society’s 75th anniversary, the first team to raise $7,500.00 in total (online and offline) will be the winner of this luxury item.

How can you help your team be the first one to reach $7,500.00?

  • Show up at bank night, Tuesday June 11th with your teams donations and pledge sheets.
  • Online donations are immediate and therefore require less time and effort to confirm.
  • On June 14th if you have more donations – get in to registration area as early as possible with all of your information.

Our registration crew, the smart-calculator-carrying-money-counting folks, will add up all of the donations and will be responsible for providing us with the name of the first team to have their donations totaled and reach $7,500.00.  It’s first come, first serve here and when they have determined that team we will make the announcement as early as possible in the night to announce the winner and have the ceremony to hand over the ‘golden’ key!
